Our Funding Model

The National Coast Guard Museum Association (NCGMA) manages and executes the funding and building of the Museum through a $150 million Capital Campaign, of which $50 million is private donor support. The U.S. Coast Guard provides financial support for Museum exhibits and programming, including virtual and travelling exhibitions. Private funding supports the construction of the Museum as well as its ongoing development, including educational programming, exhibit enhancements, special events and member programming.
